The game in one paragraph
Taikyoku Shogi is a 3D adaptation of the largest shogi variant ever devised: a 36 by 36 board with 402 pieces a side and 207 kinds of piece, rebuilt in ink and gold with a patient English and Japanese teacher, a ladder of five opponents, a 301-piece encyclopedia, puzzles, live online play and spectating. A paid game for Steam and the Apple stores (limited beta now for macOS, Windows and Linux).
